I. Am. A. Renewabler.

So, what is a renewabler? A Renewabler is someone who understands that the best way to reduce waste, is to reuse the items they use, or recycle them for another day. Not only is this good for the environment, this is good for the economy as well.

Renewabler – Reduce Reuse Recycle

For the environment, we have to understand that the materials we use are finite. Oil and coal are not a renewable resource. It also takes a tremendous amount of money and effort to retrieve it for use. The worst part about it, is the fact that we burn those resources. Which doesn’t make a lot of sense. The powers that be have the money to continue pushing their own agenda, which is ensuring their investments maintain making money. After all, if all your money was tied up in the retrieval of fossil fuels and the selling of it for power, why would you want something like wind power or solar energy to flourish. The fact is, you wouldn’t. Finding alternatives to do the same thing, is a better route to go.

Which brings us to the economy. By finding alternative ways to do the same things as we have always done, jobs are created. But, not just any jobs. Jobs that are hard to outsource and have a high income. Our youth will become educated in alternative ways to build infrastructure, transportation systems, new sources of energy, and even new ways to grow the foods we eat.

The scientists virtually all agree that climate change is a real thing. Whether people want to believe it, is up to them. But, even if you do not believe in climate change. The movement away from traditional methods, to new alternative methods, will only help the environment and improve the economy. Are some jobs lost in the process? Yes. Just as with the advent of digital photography, there were many jobs related to the film industry that were lost. At the same time, there were many jobs that were gained because of digital photography.

Become a Renewabler

The purpose of creating Renewabler is to inform the masses of all the things they can do to Reduce, Reuse, and Recycle. You will find news on alternative power generation, electrified transportation, food production, etc. This information might just start you on the path to becoming a Renewabler. Nature has sustained itself by recycling. Shouldn’t we do the same?

Renewable Resources

A renewable resource is an organic natural resource which can replenish to overcome usage and consumption, either through biological reproduction or other naturally recurring processes. Renewable resources are a part of Earth’s natural environment and the largest components of its ecosphere. A positive life cycle assessment is a key indicator of a resource’s sustainability. – Wikipedia

Climate Change

Climate change is a change in the statistical distribution of weather patterns when that change lasts for an extended period of time (i.e., decades to millions of years). Climate change may refer to a change in average weather conditions, or in the time variation of weather around longer-term average conditions (i.e., more or fewer extreme weather events). Climate change is caused by factors such as biotic processes, variations in solar radiation received by Earth, plate tectonics, and volcanic eruptions. Certain human activities have also been identified as significant causes of recent climate change, often referred to as “global warming”. – Wikipedia

Moving towards sustainability is also a social challenge that entails international and national law, urban planning and transport, local and individual lifestyles and ethical consumerism. Ways of living more sustainably can take many forms from reorganizing living conditions (e.g., ecovillages, eco-municipalities and sustainable cities), reappraising economic sectors (permaculture, green building, sustainable agriculture), or work practices (sustainable architecture), using science to develop new technologies (green technologies, renewable energy and sustainable fission and fusion power), or designing systems in a flexible and reversible manner, and adjusting individual lifestyles that conserve natural resources. – Wikipedia
